A rising Bluegrass group from a small town on the west coast of Florida known for producing world-class bluegrass artists, the Swanson Family Band loves playing bluegrass and wants to share their love of the music with you.
The Swanson Family Band features Rick and Lynn Swanson on bass and guitar respectively, their sons Travis on fiddle and vocals; Tyler on banjo; Eric on mandolin and vocals and rounding out the group, adding female lead vocals, is the newest member, Megan Bradley.
From the moment they first took the stage five years ago, The Swanson Family Band has set out to create a style of music that was uniquely their own; a mission accomplished with their latest release,
"Two in the Morning", a CD filled with great original songs (nine of them penned by the Swanson boys), great singing, and incredible musicianship.
The Swansons have played a number of engagements across the central and north Florida region and the United States, including the
Spirit of Bluegrass Music Fest in Live Oak, the Country Rocks the Canyon annual event in Crystal River, Florida, and as far as the High Mountain Hay Fever Bluegrass Festival in Westcliffe, Colorado.
